Understood, except most mechanical rocker switches do not offer a "off - on - on" solution due to their design. If we went with a slightly more technical switch with a circuit card to intelligently control the devices, we would have no issue. However, sourcing and cost become the issue...

but yes, I agree that a lighted switch might pose a problem in the VSS ON mode being always lit up
