I just threw a bunch of big washers onto a bolt and dropped it into the groove on the plate. that way no drilling was required. plus it's freaking hard to get a wrench back there to put the lock nut onto the table shoe that was in the other link and washers make adjusting the height easier. and yes i used tape to keep the 2 sections seperated when sliding it into the groove.


Take out that rubber bumper and replace with a bolt, nut, and a bunch of washers. This is for the clutch safety. make sure you don't put excess pressure on it.

why do you want to? all you need to do is depress enough for the clutch to disengage and you're all set.
