Good on you for knowing your limits!

VDC does a pretty good job at keeping things in check for sure. I think most people who get really annoyed at it flog their cars too hard... they are too abrupt with their inputs so when it kicks in it does so in a big way and pisses them off. They probably try to mash the throttle out of a tight corner at apex, in the rain, and get mad when VDC cuts all throttle and initiates some selective braking to kill the slide they just started.
