You're probably better off just trying to get a ride from someone for the day or two you would have to leave the shop your wheels. Its not really worth the hassle of transporting a whole set of wheels (which would'nt fit in the Z) to you, then you swap them, then you bring them over to the shop in another car.... then they fix them.

I assume your Z is your only car considering you want to swap wheels for the few days that you wouldn't be able to drive it. however, if your Z is your only car, there is no way you'd be able to manage this because there'd be no way to transport the wheels to the shop to have them PC'd and have the curb damage fixed.

Plus, lending a set of wheels to someone who is having theirs fixed for curb damage isn't exactly the most exciting proposition.

I'd try renting a car. It would probably be less of a hassle. GL
