Here's some thoughts on the tint install for our cars:

- My installer put a clamp on the button that turns the interior light on and off, and makes the window go up and down when you open or close the door. This kept the window up during the install.
If you were concerned about the dreaded peel, you could somehow rig the button to stay depressed. Duct tape?

- My installer removed the top trim from the door to make it easier for him to apply the tint well below the window seal. This was achieved by popping off the trim plate behind the door handle and undoing one bolt. It was quick and painless and made his job much easier and the final outcome cleaner.
