It's going to be better (and safer) for you to go with a roof-mount system. Look up the Boofsquire roof rack. It straps to the hatch and you mount a regular rail mount to it. If you keep the feet clean and/or put down clear film pads on the mounting areas it won't scratch your paint & it's going to be much more solid than a hitch mount.
