Doesn't look permanent otherwise you wouldn't be able to close the door lol
I like how the door looks, but it can't stay once I have a tablet there.

It's not permanent at all. It's held up by magnets I epoxied to the back of the dash. When I pull the ipad off the door closes and it looks like stock. That was my objective when I came up with the idea. The whole project is in the DIY section

Agree. If they made the cubby door open into the dash like the 350, it wouldn't be as bad, especially for those that like to leave it open. I hate that it sticks out.

While I love the black 370's & the white 370's, the gunmetal grey of the 40th is unique, from the body, to the wheels, to the red interior. Enhanced by Stillen in a few "special" ways and its a ride you'll never get tired of...

Has anyone else noticed that the purple is fading out of the gunmetal?

My .02

I love the interior color, but jeans dye the seats and make them look gross. The same goes for the door cards. The red door card gets pretty grubby from closing your door constantly.

The paint code seems to be difficult to match. I have a tube of touchup from Nissan and it's not perfect, but thats to be expected with a metallic I suppose.

Not having a nav kind of sucks. For aesthetics and functionality. Another downside to the audio system is not having BT audio even though I have a BT phone connection. Come on Nissan...

Other than that, no regrets at all.

As for Bluetooth Audio, Grab one of THESE.
RFX Source Units - RFBTAUX - Rockford Fosgateョ

As for Nav (with a side order of Bluetooth)
Android Auto and Apple Car Play head units will be on shelves later this year.

Once those drop, I plan fixing the lack of Nav/BT Audio/Backup Camera.

Dilute Woolite with luke warm water will clean them right up.

that is one of the best ways to clean it up

you can also look on the alcantara site for proper maintenance and cleaning

Woolite is probably the best. Our interiors aren't real Alcantara anyway.

Our interior, magnified!
