Am I the only who who didn't know that our cars have a self-healing clear coat? I tripped out because we put a sticker on my hood for a car

Self-healing clear coat
Am I the only who who didn't know that our cars have a self-healing clear coat?
I tripped out because we put a sticker on my hood for a car show. The show was indoors and the sticker was only on the car for a day. When I took the sticker off, there was an indentation on the clear coat the shape of the sticker, kind of like someone putting a branding iron to a cow. After a day of letting the car bake in the sun, the indentation went away |
