Default Feeling guilty...

Just bought my 40th... I'm feeling apprehensive about modding it already. Just ordered a CB and plan on ordering a HFC and intake within the month. I am making sure that all of the parts are reversible without any sort of modification to the stock parts... I think it is anxiety because of the rarity of our cars.

Did anyone else go through this? Are there coping groups available? I may need therapy!

Don't worry, pretty much everyone on here mods there car. A lot of people do it as soon as they get the car too. You would actually be in a minority group on here if you left it completely stock

My car is bone stock after a year. But it is your car and make it your own with whatever mods make you happy. Best part about the forum is the many ideas and opinions offered. Enjoy the new car!

Taking a gamble on the CNT exhaust (HKS replica). It was only $500 and is fully stainless... not a lot of reviews other than fitment is ok and sound is low at idle. I personally like the sound of the HKS (not too loud). Hoping it is similiar. Worst case senario is that it ends back up on the forum for close to what I paid for it.

I dont think there is anything wrong with that hence why I will only do removable mods (no modification of oem parts).

I kinda had the same thoughts. Then i decided i wanted to enjoy my car and not just have it sit as some collecter item. I think you can find a happy medium of bolt on accessories that will let you go back to stock if you wanted. I am putting on a supercharger and even that can be removed and i can be stock again. Just enjoy the car and do what makes you happy.

I suggest mods and then some therapy.

Unless you count K&Ns I'm still full stock after a year and a half.

Ok I'm sold, 40th it is! Any idea what that costs?

Replacing the spoiler, that is.
