40th Anniversary Extras

Hi guys, I just picked up my new 370z 40th and i'm wondering what extras came with your cars. I didn't get a car cover, duffel bag or license plate cover. It seems like the dealership "lost" them. I'm just trying to figure out what I should be asking them to send me that they forgot to give me. Any help is appreciated!

MY FLOOR MATS: Peeling up!!!

I am already getting my floor mats replaced.........UNDER WARRANTY!!!

lol the embroidery on them (its actually heat pressed) started to pull up on the driver side. It's weird because the half that is peeling up looks like it was never even close to heated enough to make the glues adhere. The glue on the bottom side that I can see is still intact I think I will try to heat it my self (once they are replaced). kinda shitty but probably means I will end up with my crappy ones and the new ones, the dealership won't end up taking the old ones.........

welcome and congrats on the new Z. I would demand they send you the missing items that should've came with the car...be strong and if anything call corporate

As they seemed to have "lost" some items, make sure they did put the additional front lip on your car

the front lip (front chin spoiler)should be there no matter what it is part of the sport package. Which the 40th has so it should have had the lip installed at the factory, not something that the dealer would have lost....

Update: I spoke with the dealer and now they are claiming they never received the extras from Nissan Canada and have contacted their western canadian rep. It has been three days and they haven't heard back yet so i'm thinking I should just call Nissan Canada myself and see what I can get done. Thanks for all the replies and suggestions!

p.s. Xan, I double checked for the front lip and it is there. I'm glad I don't have to try and get something else too.

I would probably just call consumer affairs...

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if anyone can give me a little help with this situation. I have contacted the dealership and Nissan Canada and both have told me that there were only 120 40th anniversary's produced and also only 120 car covers. So basically, i'm out of luck for the car cover and no one is willing to do anything about it. Does anyone know who I should contact at Nissan Canada that can actually make a decision or fix a problem they created? Thanks!

try asking them to replace it with a standard cover, they have those for the 370's 100%. There should be a no issue with that through them IMO

Out of interest is this something only 40th editions came with in Canada or is this a worldwide thing? I certainly never got a car cover with my car and I'm in the UK...

The US 40th's come with the car covers as well. Not sure about the UK 40th's.

UPDATE: So i've now spoken with a manager at Nissan Canada and was told "too bad" we don't have them so you won't be getting one. I've also spoken with my sales rep and the sales manager and was given the same line. I told the Nissan Canada manager that if he couldn't get me what i've already paid for then I should be compensated. When I told them that he actually laughed at me! After getting a response like that they are making it really easy for me to never buy another Nissan again.

My only hope now is to get a hold of the dealer principal where I bought my car and hope he'll help me out.
