Argggghh. My build #10 finally got beat. Where and when did you buy the Z? Sadly, since Nissan will not issue plaques your build number is worthless in terms of resale value. But it's always cool to be so close to #1. Congrats!

No, it's not a joke. They may have bad service (never been there so I wouldn't know), but they are the #1 volume seller in the world for Nissans. It probably has something to do with location more than quality of service. I remember when I bought my Z, Buena Park Nissan told me that Universal City Nissan had an earlier shipment for the 40th. So, I thought maybe SoCalZ had bought his car from Universal since he is #3. I'm almost positive someone from Socal has #1. Not that production number matters too much since Nissan refuses to issue plaques.
