Congrats!

If it really matter to you if the bumper is original (repaint notwithstanding), the VIN likely should be on located somewhere on the front bumper.

Don't feel too bad, I literally went through the exact same thing but on my PW.

Everything checked out, car looked great.. then some time after I noticed the paint didn't fully match. It irritated the heck out of me. Then I went off to paint my headlight housing (requires you to move your bumper) found a cigarette in the bumper which lead me to believe it wasn't the factory paint. Drove me crazy.. but chances are the dealership wasn't aware either.

Anyways, after about 60k miles later the colors seem to have blended lol. I think as paint degrades over the years it becomes less noticeable. Don't know, but I've wet sanded and buffed the car, washed it, put it in the sun and honest to God can't tell the difference anymore. Just wait it out, could be the same case with you in time?
