To be fair, the DW rails are more so copies of the Radium VQ rails, but with a billet mount rather than a sheet metal mount. These styles of rails are cheaper because they are one-size-fits-all-VQs. They are a lot more reminiscent of rails you would see 20 years ago machined from universal fuel rail extrusion bar and then made to fit with flimsy brackets.

CJM produces specific rails for the left and right side for each version of the VQ, as CJM is a platform focused manufacturer. The correct rail mounting points are utilized and the ends of the rails lengths are positioned strategically for making ideal plumbing connections on each engine version. Universal brands like Radium and DW have no specific interest in the VQ, but rather are on a quest to just have finished product for every make and model. From this approach, its smarter for them to not get as hung up on several proprietary versions, and wrap it up as easily as possible with as few new SKU as possible.

Then of course anyone with eyes can see the Z1 rails are CJM reps just with changes to the cosmetic angles/chamfers/radiuses to try and make it their own, but they did change the injector bosses to Radiums design.
