Default Motordyne shockwave fitment

I was told the end of the y pipe of the shockwave exhaust is supposed to be angled downward by design so people would know how to install the y pipe, and which side of the y pipe was the top and bottom. I would think matching up the exhaust flanges on the Y pipe to the orientation of the exhaust flanges on the test pipe or cat would determine which side of the y pipe was up or down since the holes on the exhaust flanges are not even/parallel and the flange hole towards the center of the car is higher than the flange hole towards the outside of the car.

For people that have a Shockwave exhaust does this Y pipe look right? The back of the muffler sits high and fine, doesn't seem like the best idea to have the leading edge of the front of the muffler to hang lower so it can catch on speed bumps etc. I'm thinking it's a manufacturing defect and the end of the Y pipe should be straight instead of angled down to help the exhaust and muffler sit higher. Thoughts?
