Like what was said before, launch control doesn't use traction control to manage grip when you initiate. You can however run a custom traction control map that does manage slip and use it with launch control. I currently have mine based on a % of slippage and RPM. It is still faster to modulate your clutch and feed gas progressively than solely rely on traction control to quell wheel spin. The stock traction control system is trash and only recommend using it for normal driving IF you don't have your own customized traction control system. Yaw is still it's own thing that can intervene with your custom TCS map.
