I'm sure there is plenty of information available concerning high mileage oil to support or dispute the below statement.

From what I've learned engine oils with "additives" for high mileage serve a specific function; stop oil weeping around gaskets. If I understand correctly the additives help to "swell" the gaskets reducing or stopping the weeping. Adversely, if no gaskets are weeping, using a high mileage oil with the additives can actually create a problem.

Dance with the one that brought ya. Stick with the oil that got you to your current mileage, it must be working well to get your engine to that point. Hope that helps.
