The return correction kit you speak of is a CJM product (mine). It only applies to return fuel vehicles, and non return fuel vehicles don’t need it to have a functional siphon system. The stock regulator handles that.

Edit: I’m realizing now that you have a 350z. Those don’t slosh starve as bad as a 370z but at 1/4 tank you’re definitely pushing it.
I would get fuel starve after burning about six gallons at the track and it mostly happened on straights.
