Electrics can be just as enjoyable to drive, if not more so, than ICEs. Check out the flat torque curve of electric motors.

As battery technology progresses and economy-of-scale kicks in, things will just get better and cheaper.

But, yeah, I think most people on this forum would miss the sound and vibration of an ICE. I know I would. But I've learned to live with a lot a changes - some of them I actually like.
