Around here cops would be exempt from laws like that. They say they have "special training" or some such bullsh*t. Not sure who they think they are fooling, or if they care that they are fooling anyone at all.
Heck, they even changed the decals on their cars some years back from "to serve and protect" to "courage, vigilance, pride"
