Ceramics feel amazing but just not necessary on any application. Our brakes need to be re-engineered for weight reduction and improved cooling. Our brakes are very good. Especially at the price point. But we need aftermarket pads. I added the stop tech rotors, brake lines pads n motul rbf 600 to my sport brakes. It was a $700 MOD along with the GTR brake cooling upgrade. $220. I definitely improved brake performance significantly which means that there's a lot of room for improvement on very good Z brakes.

Hopefully next gen well see performance closer to my modded stock Z brakes[/QUOTE]

Agreed...I have done the same; SS brake lines, better brake pads, Castro brake fluid (the good stuff lol), APR brake ducts, Stillen brake cooling and Z1 master cylinder brace. So yes there is a lot of room for improvement and if they are wanting to keep up with the competition, they will upgrade the brakes as did Ford and GM have done.
