I feel you. Calgary is at 3800' heck I'm going to run a 9lb pulley just to compensate for the altitude.
Next summer we are going to take a road trip to Mission BC where they have a strip and a road course and turn some times at sea level on e85. Now that's going to be fun! I'm hoping mid 11's here, should be able to break the into the high 10's down by the beach on ethanol
