thanks for any replies that might help me be more comfortable with my choice. Of course if money wasn't an object, I would get the touring model.

I think in order to answer your question intelligently, we need to know
why you feel that you might be better off with the touring edition and nav. Then we could address those items point by point. Let's take the Touring package, for example. What is it in the Touring pkg that you think you might not be able to live without? Bluetooth? Leather? Something else? If you can provide some specifics, I think we'd be able to help you analyze this a little better.
