Because they are concepts... The body are usually experiments on shape-shifting, creasing lines and aerodynamics. Exotics usually cost so much because of the costly process of developing the chassis and body. Concepts try to achieve more advanced forms of design. After the concept...The sub-premium and premium companies find the most cost effective way to make a futuristic car possible... The inspiration is found in the concepts.
