The view out of the Z's driver's seat has more of a blind spot to the left rear quarter than to the right (for left-hand drive). The big mirror on the driver's side, when adjusted properly, eliminates all of the blind spot. I use it a lot. Out the right rear, I can glance through the hatch and in the smaller mirror to check that side.
