Is your sandwich plate thermo or non, and which brand?

As long as its specific for the 370, you should be just fine. I run Purolator PureONE filters and they fit find to my sandwich plate. I even run the longer ones not specific to our cars that allow a bit more oil to run through(PL14610)

Are you mounting your core with the connection points on top or bottom? LMK if you have any questions!
