I suggest you stop modifying your car. I recently dropped
a lot more than $1000 and waited 6 months to get custom seats. I hate to say it, but unless the items you want are in stock at the vendor at the time of purchase, this is the "norm".
I'm not trying to justify their actions, like I said, it's the norm. Brutal right? I suggest buying items that are available for immediate delivery, or that are in stock.
