Dunno about the cyclo. I have both a Porter Cable and a Flex and tend to use Adam's polishes. They will absolutely get rid of the swirls you're talking about. I was in the same boat, bought the Porter Cable and Adams stuff. Virtually impossible to damage the car with the PC unless you drop it on the car. Flex polisher does the same job, just faster.
