Well, that's one way of looking at it. I'd prefer a solution to dial back out some of the overlap and keep my boost. That way it also stays cooler since we're making life easier for the turbos. They don't have to make extra boost to compensate. Ecutek promised this, but they also promised a bunch of other stuff and haven't done ****. We were teased with VVEL adjustments through Uprev, but it seems like that disappeared as well.
