This thing would be a great car to use as a dedicated track-event car and then slowly convert into a full-on race car. They're so cheap to mod and fun to drive, and Miata drivers really learn how to keep momentum in corners. I'm almost tempted to get one as a backup track event machine while doing major work on the Z
