Yes you have to remove the bumper to clean the filters. Removing the front bumper is super easy though.

Don't get swayed by thinking it's difficult like I did at first. Digitonium made a DIY for removing the front bumper for reference.

Besides you don't need to clean the filters too often anyway. I'd probably do it every 20k miles or so.
