I added my own stereo, beefed up the brakes, oil cooler and dropped and swayed it. I knew once i did that plus the $34k i paid for the car. I had a great deal on my hands. The touring pkg pricing is a joke. The nav is laughable to hysteria... The nismo. A lot of good parts but not worth the extra weight. There's other ways to conquer rigidity without adding so much weight.

I Think there's better cars to buy if you're interested in the Z's touring pkg. I can tell you coming from a G. The G37s offers so much more for not too much more money if you're interested in refinement.

The 1series @ $46k gives a nice interior, better than the touring, with Z like performance. I just don't like Bimmer seats.

A corvette GS with rebate. Mustang Boss 302 and 2SS1LE come to mind when thinking of bang for buck in the 40k-50k range.

But $35,000. Base + sport cant be beat as an overall pkg... in spite of.
