I'll see what I can find. Might take a day or two (it can be a PITA to find things in the FSM at times).
I have my cell phone charger plugged into the cigarette lighter (or whatever the PC term is nowadays) on the passenger side with the phone thrown in the cubby. The cig lighter is only hot when the engine is running, but it's on enough to keep the phone charged. Tapping into the back of the cig lighter may be a good alternative for you.
Edit: Finding the connector/pin info for the
FUSE BLOCK (J/B) (that's what Nissan calls the fuse block in the driver footwell) was pretty easy, but I'm assuming that since you can't read wiring diagrams, figuring out connectors and pins isn't your thing either. I'll post wire colors when I find them.
