Rob, there are no warranty issues with removing this fuse. Do not be afraid - it is very, very easy and straightforward. If the dealer ever gave you crap about the missing fuse just point them to your receipt for the previous replacement and the numerous threads on this forum and then tell them to go to hell.
In fact, I am gonna ask Nissan dealership to pull the fuse for me at next service. See what they'd say.
