I didn't use any impact tools. It's not a must and very easy with a socket set. I did one stud at a time and just held a stud while tightening the new one. Wasn't hard at all. Just another way to do the install if you don't have impact tools

I also used all hand tools except for a cordless impact driver. This is a must for pulling in the studs.
First rear took me an hour as I like to be methodical when trying something new. The remaining 3 took less than half hour each.
