Well the general shape of the front frame/bumper on the inside can't have changed much. It's certainly possible, maybe even high possible, that all of the basic mounting is the same and you can basically cosmetically swap in the 2012 bumper. Someone would need to at least take a close look at both to confirm that though, and then try it out for real.

On the good-looking ones, there's 6 nuts along the center of the bottom underside edge that go to the undertray. Another 2-per-side on the underside out at the corners (going up into plastics, the outermost also through the sport package front tire mini-spoiler). Then there's the hidden phillips-headed bolts (one per side) in the outer upper corners (pull back the plastic of the wheel well to reach), and the 6 or 7 plastic push-pins along the top edge just under the front edge of the hood. Even just someone confirming all of those bolts/holes match up would be a good start.
