Possibly due to reduced weight of the Z? I'm sure the turbo engine of the GT-R would add at least 120lbs putting the Z in the 3400-3500lb range. But it would still be lighter by about 300ish lbs. The short wheelbase would make the Z less stable at high speeds though.
