I may be misreading the opening post. I assumed him referring to engines broken in he meant modded, not through the break-in time period. I don't see why anyone would take it to the drag strip without a proper break-in. I may just be a bit confused here.
If we are comparing stock vs stock then disregard my comments as they only apply to modded vs modded.
