Prices in SoCal vary wildly...as does the quality. I went with Premier in Anaheim (
Premier Protective Films International (aka Premier Mobile) clear bra, paint protection film, tint, auto tint, safety film, chip paint, kits, custom, car) - and they charged me about what you were quoted. That said, it was a full custom job (not pre-cut) - and you can't see the seams - they rolled the film everywhere possible.
If you have a set budget - just do some research and find a shop with good reviews that fits your needs.
