Zenclosures sub box fitment with rear cover???

Has anyone installed our 370z 1 or 2 10" sub box and has the rear cover shade? We're trying to find out if the cover still works with these boxes

I have a Genesis Coupe. If you have not found this car for the sub box, then PM back.

From looking at your pics and then looking where the cover mount is on the 370's, it doesnt look like the cover will still work with the box.

That said, would you be able to make a top-mounted/upfire box that is shorter in height (which would utilize shallow mount subs) to accomodate the use of the rear cover with the box? I have heard great reviews about your products, but don't want to lose the use of that rear cover...to hide golf clubs as well as the subs/box themselves.

Pioneer makes a good shallow mount sub that I was wanting to install...I'd rather go with you if you're able to modify your existing boxes instead of going the custom route since I know what your product would come out looking like (great).

Thanks,
Casey

Default Photos of the Hatch Area

Hi Mike!

I contacted you by e-mail long ago asking you a similar question but had never got back to you with photos.

I've attached a few snaps of what I could manage with my cellphone. If you need any other angles, let me know.

Hate to necro such an old thread, but being that I just ordered a single 12" upfire box from Zenclosures and I do have the rear cargo shade I was wondering the same thing. I suppose when it comes in I'll find out whether or not I can still use it. I'll post some pics once it comes in and I test fit it to confirm.

Edit: Some pictures Here.

Anyone looking to put one of these in with the rear cargo shade, I have disappointing news for you. It's gotta go. No way to fit that in there with one of these boxes.
