I only got 14k out of my 2013 sport RE050's.

I swapped to Hankook Evo v12's and currently hate them. Lol 285-35-19

I just got a huge bolt in a rear 2012 Potenza yesterday, went to the dealer to have it fixed since I have the insurance and all 4 are showing signs of dry rot. 13K on the clock in the 2yr 4mo that I have had the car.

I thought 13K was a pretty short life span until reading the other posts in here.

Going with Hankook V12's on all 4 corners. Buy 3 get 1 free and then being able to claim the damaged rear I only end up paying for 2 tires plus installation of 4 so I guess its not all that bad.

Anyone else in Vegas/Phoenix area have issues with dry rot on the OEM's ? I only have 8 months left on the lease so I hope these new shoes can hold up til then.

ive not had dry rot issues lately on my tires, but long time ago i had a RE910 or something on my dd and it had a pretty bad case of it.

might want to search wat causes dry rotting and prevent it from happening if you can.

DW's are great tires I had them on and I got 25K and they looked good with a lot of rubber when I sold the car.

Yep just got back from Canada, 1k miles in 6 days. Tires r doing awesome, have to order the rotors now, I'm thinking of just doing the front two to see if that gets rid of the shaking wheel, do I need to replace all four

Check the wheel balance and alignment first, if that's all good you may just need a resurfacing on the rotors.

I've still got the original Potenza's on my 2010 40th and current have over 21,000 miles on them. The rears are worn more than the fronts, but there is still some "meat" left. I was going to replace them at the beginning of this season, but it looks like they will last until next spring.

I have done the Dragon, Cherahola, etc... on a few ZdayZ and am really surprised at how long the tires have lasted. Yeah for me!!!!

Next year, I think that Michelins are the right choice for me.

If you end up replacing your rotors which ones are you planing on getting? OEM, slotted or 2 piece?

Minsu 08-18-2014 07:38 AM

Most likely slotted

minsu- check your tire pressure just in case and also the torque on the lugs.
