TPMS dash light flashing
While coming home last night, the TPMS light came on, flashing. Of course I thought that I had picked up another nail, but when I pulled over and looked, the tires looked OK.
So, I reduced speed and drove the remaining couple of miles home and checked the pressure. OK all around. Same this morning. The owners manual says that flashing means a malfunction in the system (on startup, flashing for 1 minute then steady). Has anyone experienced this? Could it be a bad TPMS sending unit battery (or batteries), car is 4 1/2 years old? Does the Nissan Gold Preferred Warranty cover these batteries? |
