Default Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3

Has anyone been running the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3's on their 370z's with the sport suspension (staggered wheel package)? I realize that the PSS are a better handling tires but I don't track this car and would like a little better tire life than the Pilot Super Sports offer.

I have A/S+ on my ISF, they are much better than OEM Potenzas (also stock tires for the ISF)
That said, the A/S 3s are supposed to be even better in every way, so they get my stamp of approval by proxy.

yah, i posted the conti- dw tires because they wear very well. but if you're set on the pilot a/s tires and DE can confirm good wear in realworld, i suppose it is a win win for you.

op- a/s tire tread tend to be narrower than summer tires mostly by design... is that the case on these tires and, does that bother you at all?

I'll have to take a closer look at the specs but I doubt that will make that a deal breaker. i know that some people have gone to the next size wider but I'm not sure that on the vehicle, the difference would be that noticeable. Thanks for the input.

I run them on my 2011 Nismo...great tires. Great traction even on mountain runs, Only have 4000 miles but not showing any wear.

Some people don't care about this, but they are quite and smooth running...makes highway driving 100% better!

Based on the specs at Tirerack, the Michilen A/S3's are 9.7 inches wide (tread width) compared to the Potenza's 10.2 inch width. So, it looks like the Michilen's about 0.5 inches narrower for the rears.

I installed the Michelin sport A/S 3's last year in October. I live in Dallas, and as you recall, there a bunch of ice and snow throughout the winter season. The tires held up really well in the ice/snow, don't remember slipping once.
As for summer performance, I think they perform really well. I used to have the Hankook ventus evo's and I hated those. The A/S 3's have a better feel and handle a lot smoother. Stiffness is about the same. Thanks!
