Red lugs = pink lugs after 3 months

I say just run a set of black lugs and call it a day

That's true only if the red is on the lugs themselves. The red plastic caps for the R40 Revo's are true red and they should hold the colour a lot longer. Even if they do fade eventually, easy and cheap to replace them

Here is a pic of the shade of red the caps come in:

LOL. The Kics R40 Revo version come with black caps that are removable. The red caps sold separately.

Unless you meant that what the hell were they thinking with that shade of red. I'm inclined to agree. Because they are plastic, I might get a rattle can mixed up of red that is an exact match to my calipers and respray the caps to match. Maybe do the valve stem caps as well as they are a slightly off shade of red too.

nono, red is fine, just wasnt sure wat those plastic bits were. :icon17:

so they screw into the open end of the lug? they are threaded 12x1.25 pitch?
that'd be kinda cool if i could screw them into my muteki's.

They clip in, there is a little metal lip inside of the end of the R40's that retains them. Unfortunately that means they would likely not work in another lug.
