I too, was a little worried about the 265 front. I think it's the risky size, and didn't want to risk dissappointing Niko if it rubbed. :)

thanks for the additional pics...I think the front could be a little more aggressive (to match the rear) but overall its a great look!

Looking sexy as hell!!! I was also thinking about the GT30's. I want these to now... I know what Ryan @ Forged means about being a wheel whore!!!

I am running 265 in the front and 305 in the rear but on 19" rims. Only lowered the car 1/4" inch and waiting for the springs to settle to make final adjustments. No rub at all... Fits perfects but will keep all informed.

With mine, it has no suspension mods, will 265 work better than 255 in the front?

I think that with me not lowering the car, the larger size should work with no rubbing issues. And, it would not look so "stretched" as some have mentioned.

Refresh my memory, but which wheel, size, and offset?

We have done 265s on a few sets of TE37s and a few sets of RE30s, both 19" with absolutely no rubbing issues. The 20s would be a little closer and of course the suspension height has a lot to do with it as well.

VOLK GT-30 Formula Silver finish
20X9.5 +35
20X10.5 +12

We hit the nail on the head with these offsets and tire sizes.

We went Toyo T1R's all around, and a MASSIVE 305/25/20 rear tire, and 255/30/20 front. The car looks like the absolute devil and incredibly aggressive from the rear.

Thank you NIKO and Happy Birthday!!

This one Ryan... talk to Sharif (?) I PM'ed Sharif about this.

Can anyone tell me whether this rubbing issue with going to 265's on the front was a turning rubbing issue or an up-down rubbing issue? (With these wheels and offsets)

Sharif@Forged 09-14-2009 07:07 PM

PM sent. :)
