Wink 50mm studs, use with OEM and aftermarket wheels

I just replaced my front studs with Z1's 50mm studs. Cool thing is that these studs are long enough to use with most aftermarket wheels (and still fully engage lugnut threads) while still being short enough to not bottom out on the cap of the OEM lug nuts that you have to use with OEM wheels. This means that you don't have to cut the cap off of the OEM lug nuts to run these studs. Just to make sure the extended studs wouldn't bottom out on the OEM lugnuts with OEM wheels, I did cut the cap off of one of the lugnuts and there is still about 1/8" room left before it would have contacted the cap. So now my car can look 100% factory, but I have the option to swap on a pair of new wheels, say for a track day. I have yet to mess around with my back studs, but I just run bolt on spacers so I don't think I'm going to worry. This allows me to run a square setup at the track, then set everything back to what looks like OEM.

Short of the story. Replace your front studs with 50mm and you can still use OEM wheels and OEM lugnuts but can fit aftermarket wheels and lugnuts.

This weekend I'm going to attempt to put rear 50mm studs in.

Looks like they will sit closer to the caps on the OEM lug nuts than on the front, but should just squeak by with clearance. We will see They will also be pretty close to bottoming out on my Forgestars with a 20mm bolt on spacer.
