Rim thief
Well Guys. im here to tell you a storie :D I made a thread about half years ago about my rims being stolen, ever since then I had parked my Z outside with no wheel lock just plain everything. I wake up every night at 3AM and 5AM current(4:36AM) every night and look at my car parked outside. Guess what i found tonight! I find the same mexican guy that stole my rims half years ago. hes back to steal my rims again!!! I just laughed inside my house as he was sneaking around my car doing all the lugnuts. so I called 911 told them a dude had weapons and he is tryin to steal my car. police came 3-4 mins and he tried to run. At the end he still got caught. funny thing is.. He drives an infiniti g35 mod/riced -___-; anways thats 1 thief off the block :D my hardwork paid off and its time to park my car inside from now on again.! remember guys dont park your car outside even if its right at your front door. they will still come for it if they can visabley see it. yup thats how addicting our Z are XD Gnight 370z forum

Wow, awesome

Wow first a serial scammer off the street and now this? It has been a good summer for the forum! Glad he got caught AND you still have your rims. Well played sir, well played.
|
Yeah, I still have my rims and everything except for 5 lugnuts they took because they said it has the fingerprint of the guy that was tryin to steal my wheel. =\
|
holy **** you woke up ever night for over a year at 3am and 5am just to check on your wheels?!
don't forget to re-torque your wheels lol |

Awesome! I love it when the bad guys pay the price for being stupid.
I always remember I had a senior chief in the Navy always say the "stupid shall be punished" I can't count how many times I have seen that played out over the years. |

Congrats on catching this guy, but how do you know it was the same guy as last time if he got away with your rims, or did you catch him then as well http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/.../confused1.gif

Holy crap!
|
Good stuff bro

Great story. Glad you handled it safely and not take it on your own. Reminded me of a story from a forum member from Hawaii (if I recall correctly) who set up his own sting operation to recover his unique finished Gram Lights.

This is great! Another idiot down. :tiphat: Best thing you told the cops is that he had weapons. Other wise they would have showed up later.
|
When I had to park my car outside I Was equally insane about checking on it. That being said
This is an epic victory, and I know NYPD likes to get a few free punches or kicks in, especially if you run! |
OMG this is awesome! Great job OP! :tiphat:
|
Congratulations on the catch and I am most impressed with your dogged determination. :tiphat:
Luckily for me, things like this is not as common in South Arkansas but that may be because we still have the 2nd Amendment down here. ;) |

Looks like "Karma" paid a visit to the perp that evening. That's one way to say, :gtfo2: . Props to you and as John "Hannibal" Smith used to say, "I love it when a plan comes together." (A-Team Reference).
|
Hah wow that is some serious determination. Glad you caught the guy! Do you know how long he will serve? I'm assuming you got his name down and everything?
|
I did not know that all hispanic/latinos are mexicans...

Nice storie.

For all I know, the OP is as racist as George Wallace and he was lumping all H/Ls together, but I see no evidence of such in his comment. Granted, the nationality of the perp is not really an important factor but I see nothing wrong with noting that fact. If some Redneck stole my stuff and then tried to do it again, I'd probably say he was a Redneck in my post. |

Leaving your car out as bait for such a long time is true dedication. So well done. I could never have done it.

Even in TX, one can be on shaky ground shooting a thief outside your home. I certainly wouldn't recommend doing it but many Good Ol' Boys are willing to take their chances with a jury of their peers. I keep my hands off of other peoples' stuff. ;) |
that's why folks around here they always say if you shoot someone drag them into your house :P
|
Nice, hope he gets what's coming to him!
|
great job OP :tiphat: on doing the car community a good service.
