It all depends on the size and offset of your wheel... I am running a 255/35/20 up front on a 20x9 wheel with a 38mm offset. I just installed my Akebono brake kit and had to get a 7mm spacer.. In the rear I run a 275/30/20 on a 20x10.5 wheel with 42mm offset and it cleared no problem... So it's not so much the tire size... But the offset of your wheel... I have the Vossen CV1 wheels...

The offset is the number that clears the wheel from touching the caliper right? So the offset would depend on the type of wheel? I just want to install whatever wheel I choose without spacers or anything else. Shouldn't the shop selling the wheel know which offset should do?

A reputable shop would know... A mom and pop shop might have better prices... But might not be as knowledgeable... My advice is go to different shops.. And ask before you make an online purchase...
