Worst Wheels Ever

Saw these in Austin Texas last week. This guy must be one of the biggest morons in the area. I think he'll end up maiming or killing someone with these if he doesn't get pulled over first. Can't see it well but he had some 6" dia spinners on the tips of them.

Pretty sure I've seen those on I-35 between Austin and San Antonio. They were on an old Lincoln and were practically as wide as the lanes on the highway :shakes head:

Agreed! I have been seeing these same wheels around New Orleans lately. :shakes head:

Was it Mad Max?

theDreamer 02-19-2013 10:10 AM

I have seen many of these in Houston, I am not sure on the legal side of them, but I have seen many of the cars that have these start to drift in a lane and almost hit a car because of them. They never even noticed it because the wheel sticks out an extra 6-8."

I saw that once here in LA, and it even had an extended tip... I called the police

:iagree: I have to visit E. Riverside for family and see these a lot over there.

I am surprised that it's legal...things protruding horizontally outward, way over the width of the car, didn't think that's allowed.

They should be required to have "wide load" sign

NickD 02-19-2013 12:44 PM

Looks like a dodge challenger....and in Texas i can see people doing that along with a gun rack on the back. lol
