I may be biased because i have the TE37's, but i like them both. Do you have any pics with the G25's on a Z? As far as being played out, there is a reason, the TE37's look F'ing good on the Z. So unless there are a lot of Z's in your area with them, then you should be unique. The SL's are also light weight...i'm not familiar with the G25's so i'm not sure how they compare. Personally, i looked at hundreds of pics of Z's and wheels and did photoshops before i made my decision. I think the two you have suggested are both good for the Z, maybe get someone to photoshop them with the same color as your Z.

Also, if you have a White Z, the F-Zero blue TE37's would look so bad A$$.

just buy a set of both te's and g25 and which ever set you dont like ill take :) hahah

all seriousness I would go for the g25 very fresh design.

Exactly, the G25s are very modern in design, I think yellow/orange calipers with cross/drilled rotors would pop behind them. Example:

It doesn't do the rims justice though, because it isn't dropped, it is not the colour that I want, and doesn't have the Akebono set up.

also, IMO, silver lips or a silver ring on the outside makes a dark or black wheel look smaller than it actually is. I'm not sure if the G25's come with that, but would look better without.

The G25s come with that but I agree, I just don't like black wheels in general. The new colour by Rays on the other hand..

I vote for the G25's since you will be the only one with them

The SL's are a very good wheel though so you really can't go wrong with either

Osiris 02-11-2013 07:58 AM

Yea, the G25's look better in silver. Here's some other Rays wheels that look similar that are also nice:

hahaha, just realized you're the one that posted them!

i'd do the G25's if lightweight. they look more modern. TE37's are nice but kind of a dated look imho. the premium price, quality, and brand name forces people to accept as a timeless piece though. i dont play that game.

TheGreatOne 02-11-2013 09:40 AM

hmmm, tuff choice.

You know you can't "go wrong" with the TE37...timelss as others have mentioned, maybe dated but its definitely the "safe" choice.

G25 does look fresh, new, and most likely less of them on Z's. Will you tire of it though? while the TE37 might be dated, I don't think it will ever get "old" for me and I'll love looking at them.

I am a fan of the TE37 obviously, it would be my preference but I think you are looking for something different so for you I say, do G25

FairladyZ10PG 02-12-2013 08:41 PM

The new color is called prism dark silver.

Unfortunately, the offsets are not for our z's and not concave either.:shakes head:

Join the crowd ;)

TE37s really are timeless though, can't go wrong. In all honesty though...I kind of wish I kept my CE28s since nobody runs them anymore.

JollyGoodChap 02-14-2013 11:49 AM

I like the look of the G25 better for the370z personally.

But if I were to get new wheels for a 370, I would get these:

But pricey and only in 20". :(

These come in 19s now BUT the offsets are weak. Advan need to step it up for their 19 inch wheel offsets... The 20 inch offsets for the rear are decent but the front will need a spacer to look decent.

To the OP, TE37 is a timeless wheel I have had 3 sets... Try a bolder color maybe Mag Blue? Or Red?
