replace the studs, its the safest way to go about it. and you have less chance of fugging something up plus its less hardware/weight...... but to each his own

Ok. thanks for the info.

I dont think spacers are a good idea on OEM height from a cosmetic standpoint.
Yes 20mm bolt on are fine for rear.

Hey take it from me you need to go get a alignment your toe is way outta whack with the drop the swifts give and your gonna burn through your tires 50% faster in the rear then normall. Also your camber should be able to be corrected really close to spec I believe yours is -1.4 in the rear.

Yeah, I planned on getting a camber kit and alignment after the springs settled. I had the springs installed about a month before I put my car in storage (for a four-month trip overseas), so when I get back in a month, it's camber kit/alignment time!

I'm assuming the DRM 20mm won't fit up front due to the specs of the NISMO wheels, correct? I ask because I am using 20mm DRM (one piece) spacers up front on sport Rays without issues.

no, 20mm fit.

DRS are the one piece stud replacement type
DRM are the bolt on type

Everyone feel free to post your pictures with this spring and spacer setup: On a Nismo with stock Tires and stock 19" wheels, on Swift Springs.

Also please and indicate your spacer size, tire sizes(if bigger than stock), and if any rubbing noticed.

I will post my springs pictures as soon as I have them installed. My Springs should arrive by this week or next at latest.

Your imput will be of much help to everyone on the forum. Thanks!

The DRS spacers are not one piece, they come with replacement studs... more than one piece. The DRM spacers are referred to as "bolt-on" because they are only one piece.

Yes it will work, see this link for a comparison with stock vs 20mm on swifts though. Not a fan of tire sticking out past fenders. rock chip city

Here we go...

Been scrubbing all the blogs on this for a while now... I have a 2012 Nismo :tiphat:and just purchased Swift springs and H&R 15mm/20mm for my ride. I have stock rims and tires. Apparently everyone says this is THE setup to have..
I was going to just go 15/15 with no change in springs, but the rebound I was getting on the highway was starting to bug me and my GF a bit. SUPPOSEDLY, this will smooth that out a bit and tighten corner turns a lot.

My only worry is that I live in Michigan and our roads are not like Cali and Florida... :icon14: oh well... wish me luck, pics to follow.

Let me know if anyone has the same setup. From what I hear, the ride should be perfect and hopefully I won't rub and/or bottom out!:happydance:

Hmmmm.

Figured there would be more feedback on this by now... :shakes head:

Sub'ed. Installed Swift springs a couple of weeks ago, and also wondering about the spacers too. Can't really decide between the combinations.

Hotrodz 06-01-2013 11:17 PM

Go 15s all around. Many Nismos out there with that setup regardless of Swift or something else. I have them and having 265s front and 305s rear installed next week.

Thanks Hotrodz. That's the direction I'm leaning, specifically for that reason. I want to upsize to 305 in the rear, and am concerned about 20mm spacers in the rear living the tire hanging out too much.

BTW, not to derail the thread, but who did your UpRev tuning. Noticed you were in AZ.
